2nd Anniversary and more photo's of Leah

We celebrated our 2nd year anniversary this month! 11-18-2009. As a family we went to the Melting Pot. (I would eat there everyday if I could.) Travis surprised me with a personalized, one of a kind, original drawing from a local artist here in Boulder. Her name is Forest Rogers. She is amazing and pretty famous from what Travis has told me. Here is her website address, http://www.forestrogers.com. I have included a photo of the drawing. There is some meaning in the picture. I won't tell you what they are, but see if you can figure it out.
We are getting ready for Thanksgiving. Travis and I are in charge of the dinner, Melissa, Travis's step sister is in charge of dessert. I kinda wish Leah was old enough to enjoy the yummy food we are preparing.
We are so thankful for the friends and family that God has blessed us with.
We wish everyone a wonderful and delicious Thanksgiving.

Tummy time on the boppy.

Practice sitting like a big girl.

I bought this at Babies R Us. She's warm and cozy and that's all that matters.
(and she is adorable in it ;0)

Socks and Sandals....muy caliente!

Happy Halloween!

Well, we didn't go trick or treating this year. Leah is a little too young to be eating candy. ;0) But, we did dress her up Saturday and got a couple of good pictures.

Growing leaps and bounds

Leah is almost three months. We have really seen her grow and develop the last few weeks. She will smile, talk (coo) and giggle a lot more now when we talk to her and play with her. She discovered her hands last week. Everyday she examines them and really focuses on them. Today she tried so hard to figure out how to put her paci back her mouth. We're not quite there yet, so I had to help her but she is definitely growing and developing each and every day.

First snow

We had our first snow fall a few weeks ago, Friday night, 10/09. Couldn't resist posting some pictures. :0)

Temperature's dropping, Sally and Mike come visiting, Lockwood men go hiking, OH MY :0)

It definitely feels and looks like fall here in Colorado. The temperatures have been dropping to the 50's but normally heats back up in the low 80's each week. The trees are absolutely beautiful with colors of yellow and orange.
September was an exciting month. Travis's mom, Sally and Step Dad, Mike flew up for a visit. Later that week after they left Travis's brother Nate came up for a few days.
The Lockwood men had fun spending a couple mornings hiking.
Travis and I are excited that it's finally October and our favorite holidays begin! We bought Leah her first Halloween costume. Be sure to check us out in a few weeks. We will definitely have pictures of her posted. :0) Meanwhile here are the pictures over the past month.

(Yes, it snowed over the mountains a couple weeks ago.)

As the temperature drops, we are ready to dress for the weather!
(I love dressing her up now! The bigger she gets the cuter the outfits. :0)

One Month!

Leah is more and more alert.
She will smile when we talk to her or will sometimes smile on her own after she has been fed and diaper changed. She is for the most part a content baby. She is looking more like Travis day by day but still has her momma's blue eyes. We are taking her in as much as we can because she is already changing and growing so fast.
