38 weeks and finding something to pass the time.

Well, I'm 38 weeks this week.  Last week I decided to take on a project of making the baby announcements.  When the little lady is finally here I will fill out the birth date, weight and size.  I finished them today, and I think they turned out pretty good.

A New Adventure

This is our first big move as a family.  We moved from Gainesville, Florida to the Boulder area of Colorado.  We have been here and have settled in for about 7 weeks now.
It's still an adjustment and I keep telling myself that it will take time to feel like this is home. The area is beautiful, and we are roughly 20 minutes away from the mountains.

Travis is working at Buchanan's Coffee Pub near the CU campus and is really enjoying it.  I get to stay home and nest while awaiting a special delivery, Leah Nicole Lockwood.  I have never cleaned more in my life, but it is nice not having to worry about the stress of work while planning for our first baby.  The ultrasound tech. was very clear that our baby will be a girl, yet Travis and I joke around at the tiniest possibility that it could be a boy.

Last night I got our hospital bags packed and ready for when it's finally time.  The baby room is finished, and we got the jeep detailed so that it's nice and clean for Miss leah.  Travis put in the car seat that day.  Now we are just patiently waiting.  I'm a little nervous about how long the labor will be, but I know that however long it is, it'll be worth it.
